Particle Velocity Tool

SideFX Labs released a Chaotic Shapes which creates a set of particles through Clifford and DeJong Algorithms so I wanted to get some movement with them. This led me down a rabbit hole of trying to get a random set of points to move according to the other points and I ended up creating Prim's Algorithm without realising it existed. The final product creates a curve connecting most of the points, the particles inherit the normals of the curve to drive velocity and then they are restrained to the path of the curve.
This works really well with Chaotic Shapes, can make some nice standalone energy effects and works decently with actual geometry.
this whole project became much bigger than I thought it was going to be but I'm really happy with the outcome, I'm still on the fence about how useful it would be but I'm glad to have made it
