Just wanted to share a cosy side project I worked on during my degree.
It was all about making a FLIP sim and practising lighting in a snug little scene. Had a tricky time with the flip sim due to its tiny scale, but went back to basics and cracked it with some help from NineBetween's Houdini is HIP tutorials. The issue ended up being how FLIP works so learnt about Euler and Lagrange Solving to figure it out.
Also took a stab at procedural rocks and whipped up some pebbles from scratch. Oh, and got a bit adventurous with a leaf generator too – veins and all, though they're not perfect yet.
Overall, super happy with how it turned out!
